’twas a memorable day today.
The 29th Feruary only happens once every 4 years, and it was also the 10th anniversary of the ResNet service at the University of Bristol – which is what I do as a day job.
The day was mostly taken up with 2 parties, lego mindstorms, a substantial amount of wine, beer, and chicken.
2 Months down, 10 to go… I’m a 1/6 of the way through the year!
I got some very odd looks taking this photo.
Apparently pointing a camera at the door handle of a phone box just isn’t the “done thing” at lunchtime in Bristol.
Looking through this lunchtimes photos, they’re a bit below par. I think I’m going to blame the position of the sun or something. This was the best of the bunch.
Still. Can’t be inspired every day for a whole year can I?
Little Lost Strawberry
I spent all lunchtime looking for photos, mostly I wasn’t doing very well.
At about 1:55pm I spotted this strawberry looking lost and alone. I like it more than the girl on a bike that I snapped about half an hour earlier.
Mix Tape Love
I love old technology.
Warm, fuzzy, unreliable, low-fi, inconvenient technology.
I’ve been cleaning my kitchen floor today. I think the bleach fumes have gotten to me.
It’s a Gull. See?
This evening was a joint birthday celebration for about 50% of the people I work with. I knew I wasn’t going to get much photography done in the evening, so I went out for another lunchtime photowalk.
Today I headed for the docks.
Apart from this photo of a gull, I came back with a number and a Cafe Bar
3 Of Clubs
This is the type of shot I wanted to take last night at my local juggling club. I had a bit of an idea on my way home though, and this photo was taken on my dining room table with the aid of a pack of laminate flooring and a toilet roll.
