I would say that this was inspired by my trip to the beach yesterday - But I’d be fibbing. It was more inspired by the sample wallpaper on my Macbook Pro.

Out to sea
I’ve had a productive afternoon today. I’ve done some tidying in the garden, attached my new (home made) pannier to my bike, and spent a couple of hours being blown around at Clevedon seafront taking photos.
This one was taken from the end of the Pier, where I had stopped for a very reasonably priced (and rather lovely) cream tea!
Waiting for the train…
I’m going to have to find some other forms of public transport to wait for. I think tomorrow I’ll have to go catch a ferry, a plane, or find a city in the southwest that still has trams…
Edit: Yes. I know, I should go to the gym and do something about my super-fat-legs. Believe it or not, I was wearing shorts…

Pickup
Busy day today, didn’t have time to stop for lunch. By the time I got home I only had enough energy to curl up with the cat and take photos of my hand using a snooted flash.

I know I said I’d have a week off cat pics, but I do think this is better than the other shots I took this evening.
And it reeks of catnip.
Shoestring
I’m told that this sort of thing is popular in the USA. Popular culture has it that it’s gang or drug related, although snopes seems to say that’s unlikely. I suspect the kids round here have bought into the whole “it’s a gang thing” story though and think it makes them look hard.
Personally, looking at the shoes, I couldn’t help thinking “What a waste! Those have got loads of wear left in them” - but I’m a stingy old fart.

My whole weekend has been taken up with fussing over my new kitten. I’m not much closer to naming her, although there are a couple of suggestions coming together. Last cat photo for at least a week! I promise!
