Most of my adult life I’ve had to hide my love for “sardines on toast” as everyone I’ve ever shared a house with hates the smell.
I’ve spent 12 years sneaking sardines into my shopping basket when flatmates aren’t looking, waiting for everyone to go out, cooking with all the windows open and washing up *immediately*
I’ve got my own house these days, so I can eat sardines whenever I like*! Yay!
*Unless J’s staying for the weekend. He doesn’t do fish :-(
