New addition

Nameless - 2008-06-19

Everybody say hello to my new housemate!  She’s 2 years old and doesn’t have a name at the moment (well, she had a name that the rescue center gave her, but I can’t call her that – it’s too similar to the name a previous cat had)

Current contenders for names are:

  • Moasi (navaho for cat – via the monestary)
  • Lottie (named after Lottie Brunn – via the jugglindb chatroom)

Oh, and she’s nowhere near as grumpy as she looks – she just doesn’t like being chased round her new house with a camera…

    Can she do combination tricks?

    Hello Kitty!

She does seem to be quite good at walking on her hind legs, so it’s only a matter of time before I can get her to spin a ring around her front paws while balancing a pole on her head.
I think any form of juggling is out though, she appears to be scared of pingpong balls

    Amber, for her eyes.

She doesn’t look grumpy, she looks, uh, dignified… yes that’s it, dignified… nice kitty! ** backs away, not averting eyes but neither staring directly **

I think she looks like she’s wearing a batman outfit, and hence should be called batcat.

  7. Paul says:

“utter contempt for humans” seems to fit the bill expressionwise, which you’ve got to admire really.
And I’m liking “batcat” although someone in the pub suggested “galore”

She looks lovely Paul. I like Galore for a name, I can’t think I’ve heard of another cat being called that. My cats are called Billy (because he had no mates) Maise, Molly and Rose. Yes thats 4 cats, Mike Bridge has renamed me Catmandrew!
