A bag for life?
Being the planet friendly tree hugger that I am, I bought a “bag for life” from my local supermarket a couple of months ago to reduce the number of carrier bags I use.
Today, the handle fell off it. On the way home. Dropping my shopping all over the pavement. Not so much “bag for life” as “bag for a bit” – the child sweatshop workers who stitched it together should be ashamed of themselves. I don’t mind breaking the sewing machine out to fix it, but I can see that many people wouldn’t bother to (or wouldn’t be able to) fix something like this.
In pressup news – 16, 13, 11, 11, 16 – I’m only just ahead of the minimum, I’m a little worried that I’m going to fail on Friday!
