In Print, In Public
Today was the grand unveiling of one of my photos from earlier in the year, printed *massive* on the wall of the 24 hour student computer room at the University of Bristol. This is the first time one of my photos has ever been on display in a public venue – erp!
Also-ran photos from today include a train and a van driver that knows something we don’t.
Oh – and in pressup news – 15, 15, 12, 12, 20 – I worked out the secret, all week I’ve been failing due to low energy, I had a banana 10 minutes before starting today and did *much* better!

Nice! How did that come about? Did you offer it, or were you asked?
Go you! You must be well chuffed
@void – sort of a bit of both. The boss was asking around for photos we could print out at 10×8 to put up in our meeting rooms because they have bare walls and no natural light. I offered that picture and he got all enthusiastic about it and had it printed as large as it would go, and put it in the most public space in the building.
@Andy – I don’t think it’s really sunk in yet, but I’m sure I will be well chuffed when I sit down to think about it. Even more so if we get around to sorting out a nameplate to go next to it (with contact details for print sales!)
I should probably plug gallery2c who arranged the printing, and were generally very helpful! I’ll definitely be going to them when I want something for the wall at home.
