Bristol Students – The Fees and Funding Cuts Protest
Jonathan and I spent a rather entertaining lunchtime today, running around at the Student Fees and HE Funding Cuts protest in Bristol. It was mostly a good natured and friendly protest (apart from a couple of idiots throwing fireworks at the police horses as you can see in the BBC news link) and passed off peacefully with only a small handful of arrests. Not bad considering how many people were there:
For me though, the most entertaining thing about the demo were the placards:
And these last two, sum up the average Bristol University student quite nicely.
